The Center for Migration Studies (CMS), a non-profit educational institute/think-tank devoted to the study of international migration, seeks to hire a part-time data analyst. The data analyst will conduct searches and analyses and produce tabulations and reports on CMS’s new database on the US unauthorized immigrant population. Requirements include: very strong proficiency with a statistical package (preferably SAS or Stata); ability to produce tables in Excel; knowledge and experience with the American Community Survey; and ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. The position is ideal for an advanced doctoral student in a social science field. This is a part time position for the next several months, with an option for longer term engagement. Hours will vary according to project needs. This job can be performed from a remote location.
