Meagan Beckmeyer is the Development Coordinator for the Center for Migration Studies (CMS). Prior to joining CMS, Ms. Beckmeyer worked as a marketing strategy consultant for Fortune 100 companies in her hometown of Seattle, where she solved complex marketing problems using a human-centered approach focused on the needs of the consumer.
Ms. Beckmeyer is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, specializing in advocacy and political action with a focus on migration, social justice, and racial equity. She is the Editor-in-Chief of The Wagner Review, the Chair of the Wagner Advocacy and Political Action student organization, and works with NYU Law’s Immigrant Rights Project. She holds a dual Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish from the University of Washington. Originally from Seattle, she has called Boise, Walla Walla, Cádiz, Spain, and New York home.
