Cleofas Calleros Papers
MS 231. Bulk dates: 1915-1972. 60 linear feet.
Cleofas Calleros was the director of the Border Office of the National Catholic Welfare Conference. His papers include correspondence with the national office, reports, and some case files, especially those relating to members of certain religious orders in Mexico. Catholic Legal Immigration Network Inc. (CLINIC) Citizenship/Immigration Case Files
MS 397. Bulk dates: 1945-1985. 125 linear feet.
Case files in rough alphabetical order, starting with “Gallegos.” Earlier part of the alphabetic sequence was lost. Most cases deal with immigration issues, and mostly with Mexican nationals, although many other ethnicities are included. Guide is available in-house. Photocopying and use of names is restricted.
National Catholic Welfare Conference Case Files
MS 173. Bulk dates: 1925-1955. 42 linear feet.
Case files relating to citizenship, asylum, and immigration of members of religious orders are included. Some of the files relate to immigration from Southeast Asia after the Vietnam War. Partial guide is available in-house. Photocopying and use of names is restricted.
