The Peter di Paolo Papers document the life and career of Peter di Paolo, an Italian-born and -educated sanitary engineer who migrated to the United States in 1930. He was active in Italian-American, Catholic and Democratic Party activities in the Boston area. The collection contains personal materials, clippings, correspondence, photographs, and other ephemera.

This collection contains materials related to the Church of Saint Lazarus in East Boston, Massachusetts. The parish was served by Louis (Lodovico) Toma from 1911 until his death in 1961. The collection mostly contains his sermons from the 1910s and notebooks generated during his time in seminary.
