Juvenal Marchisio (December 2, 1902-1973) was a noted judge at the Domestic Relations Court in New York, first holding that office in 1937. He was active in several charitable and social organizations. This collection consists of papers relating to Judge Juvenal Marchisio’s participation as head of the American Relief for Italy organization and program. These papers are the personal papers of the judge and contain some materials on the Boys Town of Italy. It contains press books, newspaper clippings, typescripts of diaries, photographs, meeting minutes, and other materials. Of note is a letter from David Dubinsky pertaining to the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
