CMS 008C is the fourth deposit of papers from the American Italian Historical Association. The collection documents the organization’s experience through correspondence, electronic files, financial data, photographs and publications. It covers a particularly important organizational development, the vote by which the members authorized the organization’s present name, the Italian American Studies Association. The deposit includes files associated with past president of the organization, historian Frank J. Cavaioli, professor emeritus of the State University of New York at Binghamton, New York and Nassau Community College, Garden City, New York.
