Assistenza Cattolica Lavoratori Italiani was a non-profit, non-political social agency, whose main objective was to assist Italian workers in matters of Italian pension. ACLI worked out of the same office as the American Committee on Italian Migration. The collection mostly deals with former Italian workers presently living in the United States, dating from 1969-1977. The collection contains correspondence on social security, supplemental security income, Italian pension, immigration, citizenship and union pension. It also contains closed case histories of pension requests.
