2019 Humanitarian Service Award: Carmen Maquilon

On October 17, 2019, the Center for Migration Studies of New York (CMS) honored Carmen Maquilon with its Humanitarian Service Award.

As part of the award presentation during CMS’s annual gala, CMS screened video tributes from Laura Cassell, CEO of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, and Maria Perez, a restaurant owner and a former client of Ms. Maquilon.
