Immigration Today: Pastoral and Research Challenges: Proceedings of the Symposium organized by the Center for Migration Studies of New York and Fordham University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences on May 8, 1998

Edited by Lydio F. Tomasi and Mary G. Powers
2000

Part I of this book includes four original essays focusing on the pastoral responses of the Catholic Church to contemporary (relative to the time of publication) immigration. Part II contains four original papers on a range of ongoing research addressing current (at the time of publication) migration issues at the global, national, and local levels. Taken together, the papers illustrate some of the major policy and research issues which are the focus of migration research at the end of the 20th century.
