The Portuguese in the United States: A Bibliography

Leo Pap
1976

This bibliography, a byproduct of years of extensive research in the history of Portuguese immigration to the United States, is believed to be nearly exhaustive in its listings of books and articles, as far as are accessible in American libraries (at the time of publication), which make some explicit reference to the Portuguese element in this country. Coverage extends from the discovery of North America, or turn of the fifteenth century, to when the bibliography was published, and from New England to Hawaii.
