This paper addresses the Scalabrinian apostolate among the migrants and the history and analysis of church doctrine on the migrants. It views the migratory phenomenon above all, although not exclusively, as it is seen within the Church itself. It emphasizes that the church’s main duty in regards to migrants is to take care of their spiritual care.
