Fr. Sergio Dall´Agnese, C.S.

Fr. Sergio Dall´Agnese, C.S. was born in Guaporé, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil on June 28, 1949 and is a Scalabrinian religious since January 30, 1968. He was ordained to the priesthood on June 23, 1979. Since then he has served as a Scalabrinian missionary priest in parishes in Puerto Rico, Canada, and the United States.

In addition, he served the Province of St. Charles as Provincial Superior, Councilor, and Treasurer. Currently, he is a pastor in the Archdiocese of Brooklyn, New York, and President of the Scalabrini International Migration Network (SIMN).

He obtained his bachelor’s in philosophy at John XXIII Seminary of São Paulo, Brazil, his bachelor’s in Theology at the Theological Institute of São Paulo, Brazil, and his master’s in theology at the School of Theology of St. Michael’s College, in Toronto, Canada.
