In a new piece for the Huffington Post, CMS Executive Director Donald Kerwin explores provisions of the Corker-Hoeven amendment to the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act (S. 744) that would prevent newly legal residents from receiving up to ten years of credit towards Social Security benefits for work they performed while out of status.
